KWANE NKRUMAH MAUSOLEUM
Every nation has its heroes who should be admired. The museum pays tribute to the first president of Accra who was the most active stragglers of Ghana, named as doctor Kwane Nkrumah. INDEPENDENCE SQUARE:
Ghana got Independence in 1957 and so the square is famed for its celebration of independence of Ghana. The square is also known as Black Star Square. There is an internal flame inside the square which was lit by Nkrumah himself back in 1961.
W.E.B. DUBOIS MEMORIAL CENTER
The center is dedicated to an American author who believed and worked his whole life to attain equal rights for the black people. The center was converted into a library which has a lot of information about Ghana's history and monuments. A must see the place is a house no 22 where Dubious used to live.

CASTLE:
Taking you into the world of fantasy, castles are the mean of it. The castle in the past had been used for different purposes like for storing slaves and also as headquarters for Danish Gold Coast. The unique fact about the castle is that you can visit the castle but are not allowed to take pictures.
KANE
KWEI CARPENTRY WORKSHOP:
The workshop is associated with one of the most coffin designer Kane Kwei. The workshop is now run by Kane Kwei's grandson. The coffins made by Kane Kwei are still used in funerals locally.
